Chrome Girl polishes - swatches and review of the cream of the crop

Thursday, October 3, 2013

Chrome girl is a new-to-me polish. I am excited to share these polishes with you! The founders, Jaime Boreanaz and Melissa Ravo, were painting their daughter's nails one sunny afternoon and they soon realized that the product they were so carefully applying on their children’s nails would soon end up making its way into the little girls’ mouths – whether while eating, chewing on their nails, or licking off cupcake frosting. So in February 2013 they introduced a new polish that is 4-free. It was then that Chrome Girl was born.

I am going to show you the cream polishes in this post. These gorgeous polishes applied wonderfully and evenly.. They have a gorgeous glossy shine and a top coat adds even more gloss to the shine.

Let's move straight to the swatches. And make sure to check out the water marble!
Barely Legal - is a stunning soft blue. Even though the shade is soft it definitely makes a bold statement! This is three coats.

I am going to show you the shimmer polishes in this post. These shimmery polishes applied wonderfully and evenly - They weren't streaky or uneven. They have a pretty nice shine but a top coat adds to the shine.

Let's move straight to the swatches.

Bedroom Eyes - is a gorgeous ocean blue metallic polish. I love the shimmer and shine of this. This is two coats.

I used Bedroom Eyes and When in Chrome to create simple nail art. But I think it is fun and flashy. The metallic shine definitely tried to hide from the camera though.
