Tools are necessary for creating the perfect manicure. So when the Born pretty store asked me to review an item for them I picked the five piece brush set.
I am not an expert in nail art but I have fun trying. These brushes seemed to evade my best attempts. They weren't thin enough to create an intricate design nor were they flat enough to use for the one-stroke brush method. While I haven't used these type of brushes I think with a little practice I could get the hang of them.
However I will say they are a quality brush made of Sable hair. They held up really well and each bristle stayed in place. The firmness of the brush is quite wonderful. Even if I don't use them for nail art I will definitely use them for clean up. I like to use a brush dipped in remover to clean up after a manicure. These work perfect for that. With their pointed tip and a firm bristles are the perfect tool for cleanup. And at $7.99 for the set of five they are definitely affordable.
I photographed them next to the cuticle stick to show the size.
I need to get the hang of these before I use them for nail art.
