Winter blues water marble

Saturday, January 3, 2015

Today's post is a fantastic water marble. I have a love/hate relationship with water marble nail art. Sometimes they turn out extremely well and sometimes I feel like it would have looked better if I would have just scribbled on my nails with crayons.

This one worked. In water marbles, there are are some critical elements. The polish is one of those. These Elevation Polishes were superb for marbling. They spread across the surface of the water oh so easily.

I used polishes from the Elevation Polish "Journey Told Through Music" collection. You can see the individual swatches from that collection here. But for this marble I used Definition: The Vivid Unknown and Storm in the Morning Light.

After I finished the marble I loved the look. But as usual, I just couldn't leave it alone, so I added dots. I love the finished look.

What are your experiences with water marbling?

This collection will be available January 7, 2015. Elevation Polish releases her new collections each month on the 7th and 22nd. So mark your calendars to visit then. Elevation Polishes are also available at Llarowe.

To get the newest information on Elevation Polishes, make sure to follow her on Instagram, Facebook, and the blog.

These polishes were provided to me for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Please note that computer monitors may display colors differently.

  1. This is freaking gorgeous! I hate when I'm not really trying, I end up with a great water marble, but when I really need it to count, it sucks. LOL!

  2. These are beautiful!! Those colors are so pretty!

  3. This is amazing! I've never tried water marbling yet.

  4. This is absolutely perfect water marble, I love this mani

I may not always have time to respond to your comments. But I read each and every one of them.
