Blob blob blobbicure nail art

Today's post is Day 10 of the 13 Days of January Nail Art Challenge. A group of bloggers decided to get together and participate in a group challenge for 13 days in January. Today's nail art theme is the "blobbicure."

While this look is not something I would normally do, I didn't dislike it. I am just not loving it. But I may have to try it again to see what other looks I can come up with.

A "blobbicure" is when you apply drops of polish to wet polish on your nail. It can tend to flood your cuticle areas so be ready for clean-up. And don't be afraid to dab any extra thick areas of polish off of your nail.

I used Zoya Sailor for the base color and added drops of Zoya Rooney and Perrie to the wet base. It does take a bit longer to dry so make sure to add time for that.

What do you think? Is this something you would try?

Make sure to check out the other "Blobbicures" below.

  1. Very cool look! I couldn't manage this effect though because unless I do micro-thin coats everything bubbles on me.

  2. I've done this once, and although I loved it, it took too long to dry and that drove me crazy! LOL! I like the colors you've used for this.

I may not always have time to respond to your comments. But I read each and every one of them.
