Zoya Matte Velvet Collection: Swatches, review and giveaway

Thursday, October 16, 2014

I am so excited to be sharing the Zoya Matte Velvet nail polish collection with you today. There are six gorgeous matte shades in this collection. Before I discovered that I would be able to review and share these lovelies with you, I purchased the set. So of course I want to share.

One of you will receive the entire collection! Scroll to the bottom to enter the giveaway. But make sure to check out these amazing matte shades first!

But for now, let's move on to the stars of the post - the polishes.

These matte polishes are designed to be worn on their own. Don't apply them with a base or top coat. They also won't wear as long as traditional nail colors because of their formulation.

Let's take a look.

Dovima is a smoky charcoal-black with strong silver shimmer and a velvety matte finish. This shade will be perfect as a base for nail art or on it's own. It's the must have shade for fall! This is two coats.

Harlow is a rosy plum shade with a metallic shimmer and a velvety matte finish. This shade reminds me of a deep orchid flower. Because I am not wearing a base coat, you can see my ridges with this one. But the color is amazing. This is two coats.

Loredana is a medium gunmetal grey with a soft and shimmery matte finish. It is a stunning shade that will be perfect for any setting. This is two coats.

I added some dotting over Loredana with Harlow and Savita.

Posh is a stunning wine red shade with a velvet matte finish. This is a classic shade with a matte twist. This is two coats.

I added two curved lines with a glossy top coat to get a multidimensional look.

Savita is my favorite of this collection. This deep and vibrant purple shade is stunning and has the perfect velvety matte finish. This is two coats.

Veruschka is an amazing evergreen shade with a satin velvet matte finish. This is going to be a go to polish for me to create nail art for the holidays. This is two coats.
