Elevation Polish: random swatches from the Africa Collection, and SBPs

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

During the last Elevation Polish launch my fingers definitely got a work out. I was refreshing like crazy; but it paid off and I managed to score two polishes from the Africa Collection and two Small Batch Prototypes (SBPs). Needless to say... I was doing the happy dance after that.

Let's take a look.

Darkest Safari is a stunning dark forest green shade that is packed with holographic shimmer. The holographic shimmer shines predominately green and gold with a few flashes of azure blue mixed in. It's the perfect shade for fall. The formula is amazing as well. I used two coats and a top coat for these swatches. I had no issues with application.

Devil's Cauldron is a taupe that leans brown with a sparkle of copper, gold, bronze shimmer micro flakes. The internal shimmer also flashes a dusty purple shade. The shimmer is obvious in real life, but definitely likes to hide from the camera. This is two coats with a top coat. I had no issues with application.

Now for the Small Batch Prototypes.

Golden Leaves is a stunning golden yellow holographic polish. I love the colors of Autumn leaves and this one perfectly matches the golden shades of the changing leaves. This is three coats with a top coat.

And then there's Uvs Nuur. This amazing cobalt blue polish is a jelly polish that has tons of micro-glitter immersed in its depths. Jelly polishes are build-able and I used three coats for these swatches. But look at the gorgeous depth of this polish. I could get lost in this polish. I hope Lulu creates more of these types of polishes.

I am going to have swatches of the Hawaiian Punch collection up soon. So keep your eyes open!

Elevation Polish is available on her BigCartel site and Llarowe.com. Make sure to watch the site on the 7th and 22nd of each month to see new collections and maybe even snag an SBP. Follow Elevation Polish on her Facebook page to keep up with new releases.

These polishes were purchased by me. All opinions are my own. Please note that computer monitors can display colors differently.
