Sally Hansen Miracle Gels - long lasting gel coverage without a light

Tuesday, September 23, 2014

I have two of the Sally Hansen Miracle Gels to share with you today. They are a gel polish that doesn't need a light. They are supposed to last for up to two weeks. However, I am not able to leave it on long enough to test that theory.

I received Wine Stock and Spice Age to share with you.

These are intended to wear without a base coat. The directions say to apply two coats of color and apply the Miracle Gel Top Coat. So that's exactly what I did for these swatches. The Miracle Gel Top Coat applied well, just make sure you wait about 5 minutes before applying it. It does take a few minutes to dry, but not too long. Just make sure to be careful after application so you don't get dings.

Spice Age is a deep brown with shimmer. It is a hard shade to capture. The coverage was great and two coats supplied complete coverage. It didn't have a high gloss shine, even after the top coat. But the deep shimmer is gorgeous. It's a gorgeous fall shade.

Wine Stock is a deep, jellyish reddish wine shade. I used two coats and I wish I had applied one additional coat. The color is deep and sultry. It dries to a high-gloss shine.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel is available at most drugstores, Walmart and Target. They are about $7.99 each for the color and top coat if purchased individually and about $14.99 for the duo.

These polishes were sent to me for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Please remember that different monitors may show colors differently.
