Colors by llarowe Xmas/Hanukkah 2013 Collection swatches (Photo Heavy)

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Colors by llarowe definitely knows her way around polish. Each collection seems to excite me a little bit more than the last. She has created a new collection called "Xmas/Hanukkah 2013." It has something for everyone... holos, glitters, and duochromes. They are going to be available for pre-order on November 20, 2013.

This is a photo heavy post as I couldn't narrow the photos down anymore than I did. The formula on these was wonderful. I used two coats of each polish unless I mention otherwise. I also used a top coat of Seche Vite on each.

Let's move straight into the swatches. These are stunning!

Coal in my Stocking - is a stunning deep slate gray with flecks of silver in it. The silver flecks add dimension and depth.

Come Dance the Hora - is a gorgeous silver microglitter holo with deep blue glitter accents. I love this one and I normally am not a huge glitter fan. The glitter isn't chunky at all. It applies wonderfully and leaves a smooth finish.

Holly - is a season appropriate green with holo sparkle and shine. But there's more - this one is an amazing duochrome. I normally have a hard time capturing duochrome shifts in a photo. This duochrome shift in this one is not camera shy. It was harder to capture the deep green shade on its own. It shifts to a mesmerizing purple shade depending on the lighting.

Man in the Red Suit - is a true red holo. The linear holo in this one is amazing and it shows flares of the colors of the rainbow. I love this one. And what could make it better than being a one-coater!

Oh Christmas Tree - is a... hmm... I am going to describe it as a blackened teal. The linear holo in this one is amazing!

Rudy - is a vibrant red jelly polish with red flakies in it. The flakies add an multi-dimensional look and completely make this polish. That shine is phenomenal.

Silver and Gold - is a set of two polishes. And I bet you can't guess what color they are! These amazing gold and silver polishes are full of holo cheer.

Xmas 2013 - is a gorgeous glitter topcoat. It has red, gold and green multi-sized glitter. The green glitter likes to hide a bit from the brush. But if you tip it upside down for a bit before application it works better. The glitter lays flat against the nail.
