Colors by llarowe Winter 2013 Collection swatches (Photo Heavy)

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Colors by llarowe just keeps cranking out the polish - and they are gorgeous! I get so excited over her new collections. She has created a new collection called "Winter 2013" and it has some eye catching, jaw dropping stunners in it! They are going to be available for pre-order on November 20, 2013.

This is a photo heavy post as I couldn't narrow the photos down anymore than I did. The formula on these was wonderful. I used two coats of each polish unless I mention otherwise. I also used a top coat of Seche Vite on each.

Let's move straight into the swatches. These are incredible!

It's Shocking - is a vibrant, holo pink. I love this one! It will shock your senses.

Grace - is a gorgeous duochrome. The color shifts on this one are phenomenal. It changes from purple to blue to a combination of both depending on the light. It's hard to believe that the photos below are all of the same polish!

Hellcat -is also a duochrome. But it has an amazing shimmer to it. It changes from a deep plum shade to a dark blue.

Rico Suave - is a smokey blue/green with a gold sheen to it. It changes shades based on the light. Sometimes I think it's green and other times it is more of a steel blue.

  2. Do any of these shades appear to be dupes of her past collections? To me, some of them look similar to Dirty Diana, True Colors, This Girl is On Fire...Help!, Tank Tops and Flip Flops, Little Red Corvette and Fresh Cut Grass. I'm on a limited budget so I'm trying to avoid purchasing anything too close to what I already have. Since you've swatched just about everything Llarowe shade, what do you think?

    1. None are really dupes, but some are similar in color. If you want something entirely different then the best choices are Man in the Red Suit, It's Shocking, Mojito or Army of One, or Rizzo. As far as the holos go that is... The others: Coal in my Stocking and Unknown Galaxy are all different.
