Gradients can grant glitz, glam and gorgeousness

Simple is sometimes better. That holds true for nail art too. I have to remind myself of that quite a bit. I will get an idea in my head and then keep adding elements. Then I usually want to kick myself because I have made it busy and cluttered.

I started of with a base color of OPI Ski Slope Sweetie. I am in love with this silky white polish with a dusting of golden sheen. It just screams "class." Then using a makeup sponge I dabbed on OPI All Sparkly and Gold. All Sparkly and Gold is a stunning gold mine of sparkle. You can see the swatches of these two polishes, plus more from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection, from a previous review I posted.

A friend at work saw the swatches of the Holiday Collection and wanted me to create a gradient with the two polishes. She had a great idea! I love how it turned out.

This look is going to be a definite for me to wear those evening outings.

Do you like gradients? What colors would you combine?

  1. That is so gorgeous! I may have to try that with some of my polishes for holiday nails!

I may not always have time to respond to your comments. But I read each and every one of them.
