China Glaze Monsters Ball collection swatches and review

Saturday, October 12, 2013

Come one, come all: you're invited to the China Glaze Monsters BallChina Glaze introduced a party of spooky sparkles and tantalizing textures. This limited edition six-piece collection will be a bewitching complement to any outfit - whether it's a costume or a trendy fall ensemble.

These polishes applied well. Only two coats were used for these photos. Let's get to the photos!

Bat My Eyes - has tons of gold glitter in a black base. This is perfect for Halloween hauntings or just a night on the town.

Boo-gie Down -  is a fun glitter topcoat with multi-shape and multi-size glitter. Black, white, and copper glitters will put a spell on any polish it is applied over. I have it on here over China Glaze Unplugged.

Bump in the Night - is a fun, textured black polish. The tips of my nails might have been a still tad wet when I took these photos. The texture isn't overwhelming and the bumps are smooth. No snagging anything on this polish.

Howl You Doin' -  is a spell binding deep purple/plum glitter polish. It flashes with blue, red and gold tones. It's my favorite of the collection!

Ghoulish Glow - is a glow in the dark topcoat. I have applied it over Papaya Punch and then used Bump in the Night to draw random Jack-o-lantern faces. Let me warn you before you get any further... This was my first time trying to photograph a glow in the dark polish. I tinkered with camera setting for more than an hour - and it was still a flop. But you will get the idea of the glow in the dark concept. But it really does glow!
