Colors by llarowe - three stunning colors to wow you

Thursday, July 18, 2013

Colors by llarowe has created some stunning polishes. I have three of them for you today. Two of them are sensational jellies and one shimmery, delight of a polish.

There are some amazing polishes in this line and it offers something for every polish aficionado. There are creams, shimmers, glitters, jellies, crellies and holos - and lions and tigers and bears oh my! Sorry, I got a little carried away there. Actually there are quite a few I am putting on my wish list!

Let's move on to the swatches.

Behead the Drama Queen - is a deep teal green that shifts navy to purple with hints of sapphire with intense shimmer in sunlight. I used two coats and a top coat of Seche Vite. I am in love with this polish. The deep green is mesmerizing and in the sunlight you could get lost in the color shifts.

Mustang Sally - is a hot pink jelly base with matte hot pink hexes and blue and pink shimmer.  This is a thick jelly so be prepared. But it actually has an easy application. And the thickness just means you don't get a visible nail line (VNL)with this. A thick top coat should be used with this polish for smoothness. I used a coat of Gelous and then topped it off with Seche Vite.

Paradise Found - is a ocean blue crelly with sapphire shimmer and subtle lilac sheen. Application was a breeze. I did use three coats. You can see the VNL in the photo but in real life it barely shows at all. This is three coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
