Fun floral nail art

There is something about floral nail art that I love. I adore the versatility that nature supplies and the looks it inspires

Floral nail art often looks difficult. And let's face it... some of the designs I have seen are complicated. But the looks I complete are easy. It's simply a matter of simple brush strokes. There is no requirement to have a talent for painting or art. I know this because I am not a talented artist. I am lucky to be able to draw a stick figure. But floral art is forgiving. Nature isn't perfect and it is those imperfections that provide the character of the mani.

For this one I used Orly Cashmere Cardigan for the base color. A soft, dusty lavender shade. I recently ran across packages of two Orly polishes at TJ Maxx for $6.99. That's quite a deal.

Then I used acrylic paints and drew the stem with black paint, the leaves with green and the flowers with yellow and orange paint.
