Abstract dotted nail art

Saturday, June 8, 2013

Sometimes it seems like I can't come up with anything definitive to create for nail art. So today I decided to use random lines and dots to create an abstract look. I like it! I received the Barielle Brilliant Colors Collection to share with you and for this I used High Marks Purple for the base color.

Barielle has always been one of my favorite brands. The formula is great for a one color mani or to use in nail art. It works extremely well in water marbles too.

Barielle polishes are  “3-free” philosophy on formulation: absolutely none of Barielle’s products contain Formaldehyde, Toluene or Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP).

High Marks Purple is a gorgeous shade. It is a gorgeous plum/purple shade that dries to a high gloss shine. This is two coats with no top coat.

Then I used acrylic paint and drew random circles. I added dots and lines to the circles and it turned out as a random abstract look. It's funny how things work out sometime; because when I started I thought I was going for a floral look. The mani seemed to take a life of its own and developed into something that I rather like.

This polish was sent to me for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
