Leprechaun and shamrocks - a little Irish luck

Saturday, March 9, 2013

I have just a little Irish in my family background so I love Saint Patrick's Day! Seeing all the entries in the nail art contest I am hosting was making me long to do some Irish themed nail art. And if you want to enter the nail art contest the details are below. It's a judged contest so you don't have to beg for likes on your entry.

But here's my Leprechaun and Shamrock nail art. I used China Glaze Keep Calm Paint On for the base color. Then I used China Glaze Running in Circles for the shamrocks. These were created using a dotting tool and small tipped nail art brush. I also dotted on China Glaze Angel Wings for some gold accents.

On the accent nail I again used Running in Circles for the Leprechaun's suit. Then I used China Glaze Unplugged for his beard. Striping polishes were used for the belt, and details.
