Nail art - flower garden

I have some nail art to share with you today. I am really excited with how it turned out.

I am having a bit of Spring fever here even though there is a light blanket of snow on the ground and Old Man Winter will be in the area for a while. So I wanted to create something cheerful and fun.

This mani wasn't really hard. Although it is time consuming and I think I will be cross-eyed for quite some time.

I used China Glaze Life is Rosy from the Avant Garden Collection as my base color.

Then I used acrylic paints to finish the details of the flowers and the butterfly. I also used my MASH Nails brush set. I love those brushes. It's a wonderful set of nail art brushes in a carrying case. Although I use my brushes so much they don't always make it back to the case. For the flowers I used the striping brush and the angled, small tip brush.

I did not do a tutorial as it isn't my original idea. This nail art is very forgiving. It doesn't matter if it is slightly different or even if you make a few mistakes. I got the idea from Nail Pro. You can see the basic tutorial here. Her's is very clean and sharp.

Nail Pro is a great place to get inspiration.
