China Glaze has a new Spring 2013 collection and it will be available in March 2013. Avant Garden Blooming Brights are a glorious, bold collection of vibrant shades that will make you feel like fun in the sun.

The other six polishes in the Avant Garden collection are the Pastel Petals. You can see swatches of those soft, sensuous colors here. 

These polishes have a wonderful formula. For most of the polishes two coats provided amazing coverage. Some are a phenomenal cream finish and some are a satiny shimmer.

Let's move on to the swatches. These are two coats unless otherwise noted. I did not use a top coat on these swatches.


Fancy Pants - is an indigo with pink and purple shimmer. This shade is gorgeous. The pink shimmer tried to hide from the camera but I captured a little bit of it I think.

Mimosas Before Manis - is a coral with a light shimmer . This color is phenomenal. I love the bright color and soft shimmer. Two coats was sufficient on this one but I used three for a little extra pop of color.

Passion for Petals - is a bright salmon-pink cream polish. A wonderful bold, yet subdued rosy shade.

Snap My Dragon - is a bright red with pink shimmer. This will definitely add a little snap to your nails. It is a stunning bright shimmery red - almost a fuchsia.

Sunday Funday - is a bright blue cream polish. What a fun vivid blue shade.

Budding Romance - is listed as moss green. I think it is more of a pea green. I am not sure I like this shade. It does tend to stain so make sure you use an extra coat of base coat.
