Take two - sponged gradient

Saturday, August 11, 2012

A little while ago I posted my attempt at sponging on a gradient. Thanks to the advice of some of you wonderful polish aficionados I think I am finally getting there.

I used Barielle Polished Princess for the base coat. It is a wonderful shade of green with lots of shimmer and shine.

Then I used a cosmetic sponge torn in pieces - but this time I put both Polished Princess and Barielle's Sky's the limit on the sponge and blended it in.

I like this much better!

  8. That looks so good! It's amazing how much of a difference a little change in technique can make. This one came out perfect! I have yet to try the technique you used for this one but after seeing your two different attempts at a gradient, I can't wait to give it a shot.
